Collection: Copper

Copper doesn’t get shaped in the usual way here. It grows.

Through electroforming, copper forms over organic materials, building slowly across their surface. Leaves, stems, fragments, whatever is placed into the bath becomes the starting point, but the process never follows it exactly.

The result is a body of electroformed copper work, each piece formed around something real, preserved and altered at the same time. No two ever develop in quite the same way.

This is the process behind Copper Curiosities, where these pieces are gathered, observed, and, at times, taken further.
