About Us
It's just us — a small, hands-on team behind Blood & Daisies, running on equal parts craftsmanship, stubbornness, and a carefully maintained sense of chaos.
Viola — Founder
I'm Viola, founder and wearer of many hats. I design, make, photograph, package, and take care of everything behind the scenes, from the visible work to the less-fun parts like taxes and admin. If it's part of the process, it passes through my hands.
I'm not doing this alone, though.
Mom — Crochet Maker
My mom is the maker behind all the crochet pieces. Every bag, every detail, made with care and a steady hand. She's also the one I turn to when something needs a second look, or when things get busy around markets.
Husband — Beaded Jewellery
My husband creates the beaded jewellery — the pieces built from glass, colour, and pattern. He also keeps things running in the background, handling the parts that require more patience.
Dad — The Backbone
And my dad is there whenever something needs lifting, driving, setting up, or simply keeping everything moving. He's part of every market day, whether you see him or not.
It's a small team, and while things don't always follow a straight line, they are always built with care and intention. Every piece that leaves the studio carries all of us in it.
